Fiberglass M37

The flip front Fiberglass M37 was a Wittenberg Conversion

Anyone know anything about the fiberglass top shown in the Wittenberg conversion advrtisment? I picked up an M37 last week that has one of those tops on it. The top is in awesome shape and it has protected the interior very nicely.

The tops used to be available from a couple of sources years ago, they were indeed pretty nice, and at that time, reasonably priced. Once you have a good mold paid for, (very costly to get to that point), producing tops is fairly reasonable if the market is there.

I believe Tom at Snake River considered reproducing these or a similar top a while back. You might check with him to see if he can add anything.

He has those tops for sell in his website, I think the price is right, the catch is the shipping.
Shipping something the size of that top (and fragile) is VERY expensive, sometimes more than the top itself.
It´s the kind of item that you better go and pick it up yourself.
