I say yes; if only for the reason that I have a healthy respect and fear of my wife. I haven't told her how much I've spent on the upgrades and mods to my M37, but if something where to ever happen, and the insurance guy started counting receipts, only to discover I was under-insured, she would have my head on a plate!
I know where every dime has gone so far, and I can show it to her as well should the need ever arise. What other hobby can you do that with? If you let her hold a 65lb differential in her hands and tell her its worth a 1000 bucks, she might belive you. If you let her hold a deck of cards sized fly box and tell her the contents are worth a 1000 bucks, she might kill you. The choice, natually is yours! I prefer self preservation...
