Thanks for these you've found so far Kevin!! I have scoured the interwebz for pics for hours and never found what you have.
M37 pics

Several of those pics are from the pinetreeline.org. Its a site dedicated to the radar sites ran by the US and Canada in the 50's and 60's. When I was working nights in the dead of winter, I often went through the pics on the site. There are some good M37 shots in there! At least one photo description called an M37 a "jeep"!
If you have the time it's a good resource!
On a side note, I looked through the dedication photos for my base, when they named it Kingsley Field and found one shot of an M37 in the background. There are several discs of scanned photos I have yet to go through. Hopefully I'll find better shots!

Here is one that I have. Dad has also been digging for M37 pics in the airforce.
I will go and scan my dads M37 that he had at Thule Greenland and Tyndall when he was in the AF in the 50's

That would be great. I have decided to mark mine as a 53 or early 54 type with the army style markings. That means hood, bumpers, tailgate and no door markings.
Should be nice. I think the Korean War is under represented in our hobby so it will be a FEAF deployed truck in Korea.

Thats for sure!!! Even though the M37 was my 1st purchase, she is still not done but she will be as it would have been with the USAF at Kimpo in 1951

Is that Rapco or AJP's WWII Semi ( I've heard the 2 are different )

I believe Rapco sells Gillespie's 23070 and AJP sells his own label made by Gillespie and calls it Late WWII OD semi-gloss. They are both the same color.

From 1948 until the coming of todays "ACC" Air Combat Command, SAC was always a Unified command and reported directly to the President. I spent 15 years out of 22 Air Force years in SAC. The bulk of our flight line vehicles were Blue with almost all special purpose vehicles Yellow. Even when doing my SEA tours 68 to 73 these colors remained the same while PACAF and TAC started going Camo or Carc green. Rapid deployment units usually dabbled in the OD's early on. Our security police units varried between Blue and carc green. Most SPS M151's and M715's were carc green 1967 to 73 in SEA.

Found these on dclarson's photos on flickr. His dad was in the pacific, mainly out of Guam from 57 to 61. The color shot shows bumper markings and what appears to be TP markings on the fender. There are more M-37's in the background of many of the flickr pics, but these are the best.

The use of the first initial of the Air Force Base (AFB) has always led to confusion when a vehicle is found elsewhere. The resto in the photo may be representative of March, Mather, MacDill, McChord, Malmstrom, Maxwell, McConnel, McGuire, Moody, and Minot. You can usually find the squadron or wing markings on the rear bumper that will help nail it down.
