I purchased the armored steel brake line set (and fuel line set) from John at Midwest Military. Although I have not yet installed either one, both sets are heavy and appear to be high quality, for what it's worth to you.

I had a good long look at the lines and there are several spot fixes around the original ones.
They all have to go for sure.
With winter setting in, I am going to have to try to field fix the one line and then repair the whole system in the spring.
( The truck is too tall to fit in the garage )

Say, RMS, the Lordoc reference suggests that the MC kit can be bought commercially ?
We don't have Lorco's here in Ontario.

Maybe Napa sources the same product ?
Not likely to be $19 bucks LOL

The NAPA part number for the MC rebuild kit is 1.
Believe me or not, it is 1.

Seconding this. I installed the new steel brake line set from Midwest Military and couldn't be happier. They look like the originals and they are pre-formed for easy install. All it took me was an afternoon to completely re-route the lines, install the new MC and get it good to go.

when looking for parts often I use the late civi pw WM300 4.1L flathead as the m37 is often not found in the parts books.

I also use thewrenchmonkey.com to find parts and numbers. as the exchange shipping and brokerage fees can get stupid.

do you know if the rear lines are

Size - thread
3/8" - 24 x 9/16" - 18 ?
This is one dimension not articulated anywhere I have searched.

My rear lines are 1/4 inch, on my spare rolling chassis, the truck itself has the armour lines, which are hard to gauge.

I think they should all be 1/4in lines except the 3/8 from the bulk head fitting to the master ?

I was looking up within the CDN service Manual and Brake Lines are not well explained there !
Looking deeper today. I found much better data in the TM9-8030 !

Install Lines from Axle Tees to Wheel Cylinders.
1) For the line (P), use a 41-inch length of ,1/4-inch seamless
tubing, flexible conduit cover, and two 1/4 -inch inverted flared
tube fitting nuts. Install the cover and two fitting nuts on
the tubing and double flare both ends of the tubing, using
a flaring tool. Form the tube as necessary and connect one
end of the line to the tee on the rear axle, and the other end
to the inlet fitting at the left rear wheel cylinder. Engage
the line in the two clips on the axle.
2) Install the line (L) for the right rear wheel in the manner
described in (1) above, using a 23 1/4-inch length of 1/4-inch
seamless tubing. Only one clip is used to secure this line
to the axle.

L=Line ( axle Tee to Right Rear Wheel Cylinder )
M - Flexible Line ( Looks like this is supposed to run from the MC Tee to the rear Axle )
N - Clip
P - Line ( Axle Tee to Left Rear Wheel Cylinder )

The interesting question now is, was there originally a Flex Line running from the rear Axle T and up to the MC Tee ?
Seems like they were only installed where there was a chance of mechanical movement ?

A trick to finding the M37 (and all the variants) in civilian parts books is look under G741 Dodge.
