I made mine from a late model 2 1/2 truck harness that I bought on ebay for under $100, used most of the old shells, cut off the old crimp on bullet connectors and drilled out the old wires. I did have to buy several shell connectors from Saturn Surplus since I was short several of them which were so badly damaged from rust I did not wish to reuse them. Removed the old harness and used that as a pattern after slitting the old tape to expose all the wires then did the same with the new harness cut everything to length and reused the wire ID tags. I soldered on the drilled out bullet ends and bought a couple of rolls of 3M 2" wide tape and wrapped it all back up. To replace split rubber grommets I used several sized heat shrink insulation tubes one over another which worked out well. I made both front and rear along with making new headlight harnesses and a cab harness. All in all it was a worthwhile job that saved money but took a 3 long days to complete.
