You might get out there on eBay and email the guy "battlewagons" out of Denver-he's finding and parting M37s with regularity and might be able to help.

Yeah, theres a few to stay away from also when it comes to buying M37's from Military Vehicle companies in Colorado. "battlewagons" is a great guy , ive bought parts from him in the past.

Drove out and paid the deposit today. I took it for a drive and everything seems to be in order. It has less than 5k miles on it so the motor isn't even broke in yet. I'll remove and sell the fire equipment in the bed but leave the bed the way it is. New wheel cylinders fairly recently plus a new spare. I will need a top first thing. The bed canvas supports are there along with the spare tire (which will be to be replaced. The tires are in great shape with 90% + on the tread. I will post a pics on Monday.

Looks really nice, glad to hear there's no rust. I look forward to hearing more about it as you dig in. I picked one up about a year ago and rehabilitated it w/ my high school students as a project. It took 4 months and a bit of $ to get it on the road, but I've been daily driving it since. After the initial shock of driving the M (I've never driven anything similar that was not construction/agricultural equipment) I've learned to really enjoy it. It's not fast, it's not efficient, it's a bit crude, but it sure is involving and FUN!

There are bolt holes on the right front fender, any idea what mounts there?

If the holes are on the back side of the fender at about 10 o'clock, that is where the spare jerry can mounts.

Very nice looking truck, it looks to be almost 100 % intact.

Since you already have a water can mounted in the fuel can bracket (on the right fender) I would guess that the extra holes were for FD lights or siren.
