Let's get back to the topic.
Most people re-using bolts do not have the equipment to test a fastener to see if it still meet requirements.
All Veterans, that made sure that the U.S. Military equipment operated according to specifications, knew that fasteners had to meet requirements. Air Force, Navy, or Army we had our equipment design requirements. We also up-dated the requirements as needed as this is something that we should consider as we re-build a 60 year old M.
