There aren't 2 types of air cleaners, only the oil bath type was original equipment. The fording portion used with the air cleaner is only a shell that the original oil bath unit fits into. With the snorkel tube & flex hose installed, it is then water tight.Dicktater wrote:Thanks Larry,
Would you happen to have any contact info for Mr. Asbury? I saw the bottom halve of the air cleaner on epay going for like $25.00 bucks (no lid). I was willing to pay $35.00 for that lid on epay but I'll make one before I'll pay $75.00 for it.

There are two types of air cleaners,one is an inclosed fording type with snorkel inlet,the other just has a mesh screen.
