I have a Pioneer trailer that I want to pull behind it. I am tempted to paint it blue also but have never heard of one being anything other than OD. Has anyone seen a Strata Blue Pioneer trailer?

Refit,
A Strata Blue trailer would be awesome! Hey, it the AF had blue ammo cans and blue jerry cans I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think they'd paint their trialers blue too. And since we know that some M37s were painted blue on the assembly line for the AF (as part of an Army contract) I think it's feasible that trailers ordered by the AF on an Army contract would have also been painted blue. Not saying it actually happened......but it could have.
Not only do you never see blue M37s at military shows, but seeing one with a matching AF trailer would be very interesting (to say the least). Just be ready for all the questions and comments to come. I say go for it!!!! You can always throw a coat of green over it if you change your mind. And PLEASE post pics of it!!!
thanks,
bob

I have photos of most MVs and trailers I see at the shows. This one looks like it had some civilian type changes made to it.

Well, that pretty much settles that.
Strata it is!

I'm still plugging away at the truck but this transmission issue has sort of slowed me down. I'd probably be putting the fenders on it by now.... no sense in scratching stuff up when the engine comes back out.
Anyway, here's the rebuilt transfer case handles. It's these little projects that often give the most satisfaction. The parking brake handle was fun too.

I've had my truck for 32 years and restored it twice. There are always lots of little projects and stuff to do. There are so many "accessories" to "collect" for these trucks that you will never be "done" (or you can be "done" whenever you want to stop). They are great toys.
Your truck is looking great and I'm sure almost any trailer will only make it better.
Keep posting pics! We are very visually oriented around here. We like eye candy.

Just a little update. I'm getting ready to pull the engine/transmission to hopefully remedy the clutch issue. Did a little painting....
A batch of parts out of the lye tank....
Headlight buckets....
I had to push the truck back into the shop...
So I could move this back inside...thought I was finished with that thing!

Taking a break by ranting...
You'd think those levers on the side of the transmission would be easy to install. Haha. I've had them on and off four times now. Now I have to ride an hour round trip to get ONE bolt so I can finish.

Wow, can't believe another year's gone by. I've been pecking away at the truck and will try to post some updates tomorrow. My main fight has been that ridiculous governor...I had to buy a tachometer to see if I can get it set. Maybe tomorrow.
