Thanks Bret, not everyone can be there and with posted pix folks get the idea what was on display and what the rally looked like.

Paper on front looks like it says '1952', but cab looks like a B1 series with holes for door-mounted spare?

Wasn't lift handle on the front of the hood only on B1 models also?

Lift handle on the hood was poorly added Its made of all thread. The Frame # matches the plate on the glove box door, will it tell me if it’s a B1 ?
I'm not sure how to tell the two apart..

The frame numbers will tell you what you have, but there is no telling what the previous owner may of done while changing parts. The cab has the B1 door carrier bolts from what I can see in the picture.

Yes it has the holes for a carrier, I'm not sure if they were added later on . When you say frame numbers where are they located I found the VIN on the lt front frame rail are their more?

I think we are talking about the same frame VIN numbers, located in the left front wheelwell.
On the back of the cab, how many canvas top tie down brackets are on there? Post a picture.

There was a seller on Ebay that listed a 1951 titled M37 for sale - truck was a B1 series truck, as evidenced by the door mounted spare, the leaf spring spacers on the drivers side of truck, and mostly damningly - the dash data plate showed a Delivery Date of '3-59'; again, noting a B1 series truck.

I know that people have swapped around bits & pieces of trucks over the years in doing rebuilds/restorations, or by using different titles on trucks...
Rusty - congrats on the truck purchase & have fun with the repairs & overhaul on your 'new' M37!

There are 9

With 9 my guess is that it is an early cab that someone added the spare tire bracket to. I know that the later cabs had less tie down brackets attached to them, I'm not sure of the cutoff dates for the changes. Maybe someone else here can fill in that blank.

The other thing to check for is a triangular gusset between the dash and the driverside "A" pillar. The B1's had those to help handle the weight of the tire.
