Where was he stationed up north?
Is that a 50's Chevy stepside way in the back of the yellow M37 photo?
The 1st and 3rd pic are Tyndall AFB in Panama City Fla,
The 2nd one is Thule Greenland.

Since it does have the "new" style markings on the door in addition to the "old" style markings on the hood, I'd guess that it's a "transitional" model and that the base color was full-gloss Strata Blue. The "new" markings were generally applied after the "new" paint was applied.
