Dear Carter and Family

I am extremely saddened by the loss of your son. I have a 3 year old son and can not imagine losing him.
Words alone can not express my sadness for you at this time but you will be in my thoughts.

My deepest sympathy,

Stuart

I know the pain you and your wife are going through, we lost our son of 23 going on 12 years ago. You will never get over it but with time it does get easier. I pray God gives you the strength and hope to carry on.

Very saddened to hear of your loss. As the parent of a special needs daughter from a near drowning 10 years ago, I feel some of what you are going through. WPW is much more common that people think. It is very serious. You and your family will be in our prayers. Never hesitate to reach out if help is needed.

Carter,

I am terribly sorry to read of the tragic events that fate has bestowed upon your family. My sentiments and prayers echo those that have previously written. I am a father of two, and my heart cannot even begin to comprehend this type of pain.

You are all so kind, your comments have greatly helped us appreciate what a fine group of friends we have here on this site and our hearts and prayers go out to those of you who have shared your mentioned sorrow of lost loved ones. A small club of survivors, that none of us wanted to join.

We are still in shock and we are going thru' what I call the "I remember when he did this" part of our accepance of this horrible series of tragic events. Services were Friday. We attended a large gathering, 40/50? yesterday. A little physical down time today but no freedom from remembering, he was with us 36 yrs and I have a lot to process so that I might stop having this on my mind 24/7 but to have it in that "special place or room in your mind" which can be visited regulary but not forced to live in all day, everyday.

Don't worry, last pic of him on the forum :D

Him in Az.

Don't worry, I don't think anyone minds you posting pictures. You're doing what all of us do, remembering those we lost. Just don't let it consume you, your son wouldn't want that.

Tried to stay busy yesterday taking more pix of the items that came in the parts buy instead of thinking about him.
