Webshots is dead.

Post by Carter »

Deleated my Webshots album link, just seeing if it's gone from my signature.

Yep, sure is.....
I have been using photobucket per your advice, very happy indeed but did switch back to the old format as the new one was a pitiful attempt at improving what was already very good...

I switched back to the old format also, don't know what Photobucket staff was thinking, but I am very unhappy with Webshots since I had many albums that went away.

I guess you had them all backed up but what a pain in the arse to have to set it all up again, I am lucky, if anything happened to photobucket I have only a few pics in there for weblinking.

I am but arsehole the new format if you don't like it, there is a link at the top right of the page to do so. I have found photobucket to be a top setup with easy pic linking, Thanks again to Carter for sending me there...

Photobucket is the only other site I have used Bruce, others are out there but I have never tried them since with the bucket has such easy pix linking and why mess with success and you are welcome Tony, since it is easy enough for for me to use I thought I'd recommend it when you ask.

Nothing like a good run-on sentence to convince people I was not an English major in college.

I have used both but was keeping Webshots for album storage and since they croaked I have several thousand pix that I need to figure out how to recreate the albums with out spending hundreds of hours doing it one shot at a time...

And now for something completely different :D ...just thought I'l post a snow picture.

Hi Carter,

WOW......you've got snow already???? Ok...just kidding. So far it's been a rather tame, lame winter here in Maryland....but I'm not complaining.

I'm reading these posts about Photobucket. I use Flikr.....just takes 3 clicks and I have a pic uploaded to this forum. I think I tried Photobucket, but don't remember why I ended up with Flikr. I'll have to check out Photobucket again.

regards,
bob

Hey Bruce, was it Judy Cillins who sang " You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone? That's what my neighbors might think when the snow flies after I move.
