R2 winch

Post by tomor13 »

Is there a conversion for the braden Lu-4 winch to another drive source such as hydraulic or electric.

Whatever you want to brew up. Electric would be a last choice. Hydraulic would be first.

is there a reason? doing a repower? if not then the stock PTO is the best option. you basically have a winch with 100 HP.. no way a hyd or elec can compare. the automotive size hydraulic pumps uses on mile markers and such are just not large enough to perform like the stock set up. if you are changing tranny to NV4500 or other modern stick the the chelsea 352 series pto will work
