Anyone know the bulb # that the map light uses? My bulb has "T308" on it ,, can't find it.

Mine is the same as the blackout lamps.

Good question.

Garbee had this (brief) list posted on his web site: http://garbee.net/~cabell/12voltconversion.htm

This is only good if you have the same clamshell type maplight as I have, also.
Here is a good chart of bulbs, voltages and wattages available commonly.

My bulb has two contact points on the base, and there are two springs in the base of the light. I have two of these and one had a single contact bulb in it- it contacted both springs which seems to me to be a direct short as the wires are attached to both springs (one each). The bulb that has two contacts (pic) has a single filament. This bulb came from MWM in the light.

Double contact, single filament should be 1254, 304 & 624 from dimmest to brightest.
