M37 cargo bed differences

Post by Mopwr »

Are there any differences in the cargo bed between any production dates for M37's? Any different brackets, braces, holes? I'm switching a box from a 1951 onto a 1962 B1 (the box on the 51 is much cleaner)and I'm going for original, just wanted to make sure there weren't any subtle differences between these production dates.

Thank You!

The right front of the bed will have the holes for the in-bed spare tire holder as well as the nuts for the jump seat.

B1s seem to have a much shorter bracket on the passenger side of the bed that you would bolt the fording pipe to.

The front of the B1 bed is missing the spare tire bolt locations and the jump seat holes. The curb side of the bed holes for the troop seat are more to the front as the seats go all the way forward like the road side.
