Hi Gang,
Forum traffic seems to have slowed to a crawl lately; please take a minute to respond to this thread and let the group know you're ok.
Thanks!

Hi Gary, Still alive and kicking down here in South Texas. No time to work on my M-37"s lately. Still working full time with lots of overtime. I still read the Forum and buy a few parts when they come up if I need them. Working on my shop a little to get ready to restore one M-37 when I have more time or when I retire. Andy keep up the good work with your shop kids.
Take Care,

I'm still here in NY waiting for the warm weather. I read the posts on here and FB every morning ... I'm basically a Lurker..

Gary,
Still around, just haven't posted much lately. Seems like the "to do" list just keeps getting longer and longer and all I do is play catch up.

We did to some dyno pulls on the "new" engine and I just put the transmission back in after playing with the synchronizer's endplay and it seems to have improved the 3-4 shift. May do some engine work this week. I need to get ready for Petaluma.

Mark you need to get one of your rigs up and running so you can play with it! I may have scored another engine from an aircraft tug 8) .

Andy

Yeah, hanging around. Not much fun posting that you are scraping every inch of the M37 frame to remove loose paint and rust.

OK? I think not! No one has ever accused me of that!
In between jobs and working more on the newly acquired Willy's to get it fully roadworthy so I can take the M37 off the road for the next steps.
Looks like gated1978 is busily posting spam listings!

Just out here enjoying my truck. The only jobs I have left before calling it done are:
1. Patch up the canvas
2. Seal it up with wax toilet rings

And all this time I've been going to the expense of Speedi-Sleeves and nitrile seals and Hylomar and cutting my own gaskets from Buna-N stock! I knew there had to be an easier solution.

There are less expensive sources of wax than bowl rings!

But I'm allergic to bee stings!

$1.39 per ring + 11% off at Menards is a pretty good deal. That's the best I've been able to find locally. I'm open to suggestions.

I'd love to use cosmoline, but that's far out of my budget because all I can find is spray on stuff.

man, I could use some cosmoline. been shifting parts out of a rotting 40ft office trailer and into a 20ft 5ton. built 2x4 shelves and organized the best I could within the smaller space. hope to be shooting some house paint on a few rigs once it warms up

Here now and again. Buried with my Carryall project. Hoping to get it in shape to do the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route this summer. Pretty much an off-road trip from Oregon, across Washington to the Canadian border. Camping and stuff.

Fingers crossed.

@ashyers - Lets hear the story on the go kart. (I love go karts!)
