If you look at the production dates page on the forum it shows 2661-xxxx. Have you tried entering it in this format 2661-38060? IWho ever built the page might have designed it to have the dash. Good Luck!

I'd tape off the area enough to strip paint off the numbers. I think the year delivered and the s/n combination might be the issue. I think your data tag shows 7/63 but I can't really tell from the photo. This puts it in the contract cycle but if you look at the S/N page it shows a different number format.

This is an unusual serial number with the 2661 prefix on the 23508 contract and a DOD of 7-63. All of the 23508 contract serial numbers I have seen have are from 1962 with a prefix of 26611 or 26612 and most of the 1963 serial numbers I have seen are 0090T contract with a prefix of 26680. Does anyone else have a truck that adds 2661 to the number on the tag instead of 26611 or 26612? Any other 23508 contract trucks with a DOD in 1963?
