Finally some more progress!

Post by 98taco3 »

Things have been hectic for the last few years with work and the M37 project was put on hold. Have made some big progress over the last few weekends though! The engine and trans are in, T case is painted and ready for installation, drive shafts are getting rebuilt this week, and have a lot of the fuel/brake lines installed as well.

Hooray gigantic jigsaw puzzle from hell!

sorry for the pictures that appear to be taken by a potato haha

Hey 98, that's some good progress! Your garage looks like mine-little room to maneuver but all worth it. Thanks for the pictures, too! Keep up the momentum-looking good!

`Thanks for posting these pictures! I hope to be installing my pistons this weekend, and getting my engine ready to paint silver. I have not read much on "most correct" transmission and T case color, but see you have done black?? That is what I was going to default to unless I learned better. any further comments on power train colors?
Thanks - Dana

I took a second look at your transmission, and it looks more like a dark OD color? Lighting makes a lot of difference.

Great job, lots of work but they are cool old trucks and worth saving.
